Beauty by Vivian: A Full Ecommerce Build for a Skincare Professional

Beauty by Vivian logo with brand color palette and ecommerce site mockups in a branding grid layout.

Project type: Ecommerce website design and development
Industry: Skincare and esthetics
Scope: Custom WooCommerce build, branding, product catalog, booking integration

Project Overview

Vivian is a licensed esthetician with a business that runs on two channels. In one room she does facials, waxing, and lash work. In the other channel she sells a full retail skincare line built around the Dermaki brand. Her old website made both sides harder than they needed to be. Booking an appointment took too many taps. The product catalog was small, disconnected from the brand, and didn’t reflect the quality of what she was selling in person. The site we built handles both sides of her business in one place.

The Build

This is a full WooCommerce store with appointment booking layered in alongside the retail side. That combination is where most beauty sites fall short. They do appointments well or they do products well. This one does both.

On the retail side, the catalog covers 18 product categories: cleansers, toners, serums, masks, exfoliators, anti-aging, pigmentation, acne and clarifying lines, sensitive skin lines without essential oils, seasonal holiday products, travel sizes, kits, and the clinical and advanced lines reserved for in-studio use. Every category has a dedicated page. Every product supports multiple sizes and variants, so a 1oz and a 4oz version of the same serum live under one listing instead of competing against each other in search.

Customers get a wishlist, a side-by-side product comparison tool, and full account management to track orders, save favorites, and check out faster on repeat visits.

The appointment side ties into her Square booking system, so a client can book a facial or a waxing service from any page on the site without bouncing out or setting up another login. A dedicated treatments page explains what each service involves, and a before and after page shows real results from real clients.

Branding and Design

The visual identity work covered the logo, color palette, and the photography direction for every product shot on the site. Every product image follows the same clean, soft, premium look. The site reads like a high-end skincare brand because that’s the category Vivian is competing in. Nothing about the experience feels generic or pieced together.

The Outcome

Vivian now runs her entire business from one website. Bookings, retail orders, customer accounts, product launches, and the brand story all live in one place. When she launches a new holiday line or a new kit, it goes live in minutes. When a client wants to rebook, it takes one tap. The site handles the operations so she can focus on the work that pays the bills.
